About Aaron

I began working with people in 1988 with foot reflexology. I was soon fortunate to train with Ellen Kirkland in Jin Shin Do acupressure, sleuthing the feel of acupressure points. Then I left for Jay Scherer’s massage school in Santa Fe—a beacon of holistic manual medicine—where during Spring my hands mysteriously went numb for 2 weeks and I thought I’d have to forego any career in bodywork. When feeling returned it came with new sensitivity. I moved next to learn Rosen Method Bodywork and then into 2 years of the Feldenkrais Method training. After meeting the Scottish Osteopath Hugh Milne I followed him to Big Sur to study his quantum electric vantage on Craniosacral Unwinding. To get acquainted with the emotional repression system of the body I studied Core Energetics with Siegmar and Cornelia Gerken in Mendocino. and body psychotherapist, licensed as a Marriage & Family Therapist and certified as a massage therapist.  Sessions harness the linkage between experience and meaning, . As a perpetual student of human systems I’m fascinated by how things fall apart and come together. My own evolution is the source of the potency in my work.

I’ve had the great good fortune of training with teachers and leaders in a wide variety of healing professions including Dick Olney, Richard Rose, Max Shupbach, Hugh Milne, Charlotte Selver, Carl Ginsburg, Clyde Hall, Marion Rosen, Grandmother Carolyn, Brooks Barton, Emily Conrad and Gabrielle Roth.

Let’s explore if my practice is right for you.
